Panjnand River is a river at the extreme end of Bahawalpur district in Punjab. Panjnand River is formed by successive confluence or merger of five rivers of the Punjab, namely Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Beas and Sutlej. Jhelum and Ravi join Chenab. Beas and joins Sutlej, and then Sutlej and Chenab join to form Panjnand 10 miles north of Uch Sharif in Muzaffargarh District Panjnand runs south wost for approx 4-5 mies and joinhe River at Mithankot. A barrage of Panjnand has been erected


 


Suez Canal

The Suez canal is a sea level waterway in Egypt, connecting the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea through le Isthmus of Suez. Constructed by the Suez Canal Company between 1850 and 1800, it was officially opened on 17 November 1869. Length of canal is 193.3 km
